I have had some interest in trading a doll for some scrapbooking supplies which sounds like fun. I made a slide show of other dolls that I need to adopt out. If you want to look at the pictures and see the names/comments on the dolls, you can go to http://picasaweb.google.com/dwisseman/Dolls#5246362438156879538 and hopefully an album will magically appear for you! I was asked what kinds of things I am interested in trading. Here is my reply:
"I really didn't want anything great in trade from the dolls. I just thought it might be fun to see what kind of a response I got! I thought there might be someone with something they were tired of and wanted to get rid of. I'm all for trading "treasures" -one man's junk is another man's treasure for sure! I have traded in the past for cotton material (quilt type fabrics), and I am interested in lots of things. I like old things, handcrafted things, crafts of all kinds, knitting, sewing, dolls, crocheting, quilting, scrapbooking, refinishing furniture, cooking and cook books, all kinds of books, magazines, etc."
If you go to the website above and view the comments, I tried to comment on the dolls condition if there was anything unusual. The measurements are approximate heights - just to give you an idea what size doll it is as it is hard to tell from the picture whether it is large or small.

I have had 9 dolls spoken for whose pictures are on the slide show on the blog - so the ones that are left are the ones on the Picasa web site. I haven't figured out how to delete their pictures from the slide show without completely redoing the slide show yet. Since it took me quite awhile to create the slide show, I don't want to change it quite yet! So, this is just to let you know that not all the dolls that appear on the blog are still available.
