This fall Dave is checking the water several times a week at a couple windmills for a friend who has his cows in a pasture near us. Katie, the dog, takes her position as top ranchdog quite seriously. Here you can see how she watches from the back of the pickup to make sure everything is just as it should be. My job, on the other hand, is much more lowly - as designated driver so Dave can get out and open the gates.

Hi folks, I just noticed your blog on Susie's. How fun to be able to keep up with your life...what a treat. I enjoyed seeing the house pictures, both inside and out. Then of course, there were the pictures of the adorable grands! Linda L
Those dogs do have a knack at keeping track. And being the driver is very important. Try taking a wrong turn and it will show confusion on the passengers part. Important to keep focused. Thanks for sharing.

I love your new blog Karen, and I just added you to my list!!! :)
The photo of Katie in the rear view mirror is incredible!
The girls and I are at the library today so we're checking your blog for the first time in ages - and love it! This picture of Katie is SO great! We loved the ones of the hot springs too. The girls loved seeing so many people they know! Miss you both! Love, Michelle
