We have had requests for pictures of the inside of the house now that we moved my furniture in - plus we got some new end tables and coffee table. The chair in the middle of this picture is the one we got with the tables as a deal when we bought them as it was damaged and needs some work. It matches our sofa pretty well. We haven't gotten the repair work done yet but are using it anyway. When we went to hang some decor on the walls, I felt the gold/orange/black stripe I had painted on the wall back when there was nothing in the room was very hard to decorate around. It seems like no matter what we hang there, the stripe dominates it and nothing really looks good. I am contemplating painting over it - but Dave likes it and thinks we should leave it. So, presently it is staying, and I'm adjusting! Maybe somewhere down the line I will paint it over.
Here is the other side of the room - we still have the green recliner I brought from W&W's, and we use it daily. I like the size and feel of it - maybe we will get it recovered some day.
Our special guest this past week was Hannah B. It was lovely having her here for a visit and she and Dave played some intense games of ping-pong!
